Happy New Year
While there is nothing that actually happens between 11:59pm of December 31st, and 12:00 am January 1st, it is a special moment. The old year is stripped away and the new year is here. Consider it a new start, a clean chapter, a momentary pause on life. Sometimes nothing more is needed in life than the turn of a page and a change in the pace.
Again, nothing special happens on January 1st, but I encourage you to take a moment and perhaps change the course of life a bit. Do you think that the year holds a new job, a new hobby, and renewed commitment to something? Then use it as an excuse to go for it. If this year was a book, imagine it beginning with 'Everything changed for the better in 2018 when...'.
